Le Guin's "Earthsea" has been produced into a Mini Series, and will air on the Sci-Fi Channel in December. While I have not yet read this classic work of Fantasy Adventure, I fully intend to start immediately! As LUCK would have it, the owner of my all-time favorite bookstore gave me a copy for FREE as a gift today... I shall begin reading tonight.

I suspect I will be back here within the week to make informed, and hopefully -- intelligent comments.

I read it a couple years ago, the farthest shore is the worst book in the series, but I can't wait till the mini series comes on. They did a good job with Dune, no doubt this will be good. Is it just Wizard of Earthsea or are they condensing all the books into it? The Tombs of Atuan seems like the best to put to film.
