has anyone heard of Laurie Halse Anderson? She wrote Speak and The Catalyst and they are two of the best books I have ever read. Her work is really moving.....although it made me quite sad, I still enjoyed reading the books.

Her books are amazin.really moving.speak was brill.quite depressing though.but melancholic litterature is my favorate.

speak is one of my favorite books of all time. I can sometimes relate to the character melinda because I was a high school misfit as well. speak is a very moving and interesting book that just gets right to the point.
