Discussion: Julie Zeh

Zeh, for me, taps into the same spirit as Houellebecq albiet less bitter and more organized. The main character suffers from the same early 21st. century male nihilism but the fact that the author is a woman is apparent in some parts. This fact might also explain the slim chance for hope at the end of the novel.
