Whocares, time to move on, people are people. Ethnicity? Who asked that question? Work on the Ethnicity? People are animals. Get It?

I' m an italian student of foreign languages; I'm still studying for a degree in American language and literature. I would like to start a research on the ways of life of italian immigrants in the U.S at the beginnning of the twentieth century up to the forties and this through the figures and situations depicted in John Fante's works. I need to exchange opinions, but above all, to collect as much critical essays about the writer and his novels as possible; in particular, for this aim, I should have a list of all who, in the United States but also from other countries, have written something on this issue. Could someone help me?I'm looking forward for hearing news from Les, with whom, as I read above, I seem to share the same problem.
The fact that John Fante is of the Guido element has nothing to do with it. Bukowski bows down to the creator of his style
