I am so unable to put down a John Connolly novel, that I sent for the newest (THE WHITE ROAD) not yet released in the US when a family member toured Ireland...Chilling, haunting, vivid, and yet so well written that the gore is secondary. I love these books...I am just right there with Charlie Parker, and few do as grand a job of letting you hear the sounds and smell the smells as John Connolly...
