This is the best book i have read this year! I am eargerly awaiting books 2 and 3. I am trying to find a news group that discusses this book. I read some where that John Birmingham will include some of the best ideas from these discussions in the follow up books

I read this book out of curiosity, but its interesting that this is a big departure from his usual stuff.
Read Leviathan, his "unauthorised biography of Sydney" and you'll see what I mean.

The sequel to "Weapons of Choice World War 2.1" is "Designated Targets World War 2.2" and was released in Australia at the end of August. I think it is as good a read as the first.
You are right Soy, it is a big departure from his earlier works. Thought Leviathan was excellent, and enjoyed Dopeland as well.
