But that makes a GREAT point of why Voldemort didn't want to go up against Dumbledore, however makes it a HORRIBLE point because he demanded Draco to kill him, so why would he want a piece of himself killed? Also, I contradict myself about Harry being a horcrux (especially if Voldemort knew, which I think he would) he tried to kill Harry in the Goblet of Fire, so I dunno, we'll see, I guess! J.K. obviously didn't give the background on how it was kept safe. But I have a feeling she will probably never reveal that burning question, it's probably not very important to the plot. If I would have to guess however who it was hidden by, I would say Wormtail since he was his TRUE and FAITHFUL servant, like it says in the 4th book, where he was able to reincarnate Voldemort with the help of Harry. Although I'm not sure where a rat would keep it. But I'm sorry Wormtail could get lost easily and go missing a bit without Ron having noticed.
