Could you please elaborate what in your opinion is wrong with his novels? I think Kane and Able, Not a penny less not a penny more are classics in their own right.

You have piqued my interest in this fellow. I am very much in the dark having completed my torturous graduate journey, so flork is putting me back in the swing of literature.

Sounds like he's an atypical flamboyant artist. It is unfortunate that politics can taint his contribution to the world of print, but hopefully when he passes on his legacy will ring louder in the form of his creative works rather than his trials for power and money.

I look forward to looking into KANE AND ABLE and PENNY LESS NOT A PENNY MORE.

Any more suggestions?
