Jack Higgins

Forum

I have just started readin Jack Higgins book, But I have fallen in love with them. The plot line makes you want to keep reading all through the night. I love reading about the chartacters too. Right now I LOVE Sean Dillion and Blake Johnson. Blake is only in four books though. Thats a sham, him and Dillion are great buddies together. Together they get into so much trouble. Blake also isn't in any movies either. I would love to see him in the big screens. But life stinks, the things you really love are never the ones made into moves. SHAM.

for some reason i have always found the whole "gang" of characters of hannah berstein, sean dillon, and liam devlin, to be really entertaining, something about them being irish, and the irish in me sort of connects me to them, and i would also love to see more of his books be put into movies, and i have always seen liam devlin being played by sean connery, and sean dillon as ewan magregor. Higgins books are magnificent, and for some odd reason, besides that they are great and interesting to read, he is the only author that i read. Granted i am only 17 years old, it doesnt mean i cant appreciate the fine writing that jack higgins comes up with

My first Higgins book was A Season in Hell-it hooked me. My favorites are Eagle and the sequel. Usually I'm not too happy with movie adaptations but I loved the movie, Eagle....... I think Michael Caine really nailed Kurt Steiner. I need to catch up on his last few recent ones.

Jack Higgins is an incredible author with awesome characters! I started reading his books really young..at about 10 or 11 years old...I fell in LOVE with Sean and I think Jack Higgins( Harry Patterson) should write prequels to Sean, telling about what he did in the IRA and when he worked freelance. There is only one book about that though, Eye of The Storm. I think Sean, Blake, and Billy are a dynamic, different trio. I have not read Bad Company yet, but I loved Midnight Runner.

I have read only one book of him "The Eagle Has Landed". I liked it very much. The characters really seemed a lot alive. I greatly respect Kurt Steiner really
