DId anyone notice the use of the color yellow in "Rosemary's Baby" and "Son of Rosemary"? I was wondering what the significance was? Also, was anyone disappointed in the end when everything was just a dream?

Is it just me or is Matrix a total lift of This Perfect Day? I guess maybe it was just the "inspiration"?

I think This Perfect Day is a wonderful novel, but some things aren't thougt over well. And the end is not cool, cause I was wondering what had happened to Lilac and Jan. If the relation between Chip and Lilac would be ok, for example.

I totally agree with Lil' Pety. The novel seems not to be finished. I kept wondering, what about Lilac? Would she still love Chip? Would she be glad to see him? And another important thing that I have missed, how does the world change after Chip destroyed Unicomp? I would really like to know these things. So, Ira, here's a request from Lil' Pety and J10, finish your novel!!!!!!!!

Motherf***er!

Dear J10, I'm glad that you agree with me but I'm disappointed that you're calling this writer, one of my personal favourites, names. He did a wonderful job by writing this book and you are treating him as a very bad writer. And by the way, it wasn't my request to finish his novel, I only said that it's not done yet.

Dear Lil' Pety, at first I want to make something clear. I really don't think that Ira Levin is a bad writer. I think he's the greatest writer I know at this moment. I was just disappointed that I still had questions in the end. Lilac was an important person in Chip's life. She might even be the most important person. So even when Chip seemed to have dicided to stay with Wei and the programmers, I still kept thinking about Lilac and if Chip and she would ever be togheter again. Sorry for calling him names. That was a bad joke.

Don't thank Ira, thank UNICOMP!

Those of you who enjoy Ira Levin might enjoy my page devoted to him and his works. Its at http://www.intercoursewiththedead.com/levcrit.htm
There's another movie version of 'The Stepford Wives' in the works and it will star Nicole Kidman and Joan Cussack, but rumor has it that its going to be done as comedy which doesn't really sound all that promising.
