I thoroughly enjoyed reading the Bridget Jones books. Funny, wild and outrageous!
There is something that puzzles me, however, in THE EDGE OF REASON. On May 17 we read that Magda's son Harry is nearly one year old. And then backtracking to 11.30 AM on January 27 we find Magda saying, " ... tuck your willy inside the potty! If you let it hang out it'll go on the floor!"
Is she addressing these words to her son Harry?
But the infant would only be around 7 months old at this time! Too early for potty training, surely?
There is obviously an error here. Could it simply be a typographical error on my copy of the book (edition 2000 from Picador) regarding Harry's age? Or could the slip have come from Ms. Fielding herself?
