One of my favourite authors. Delightful books, amazing characters. Brings alive the period of Regency London like no other.

Hi! What was the title of the book by Georgette Heyer in which there was a pair of twins and the one pretended to be the other to fool people and the prospective bride of the other? I started to read it and I lost it. Could you please tell me the name. Thank you

My mum has read Heyer ever since i can remember, and so, since i read almost all of the same books as she, i started too. I've been hooked since. I can't decide which is my fave between False Colours, These Old Shades, Regency Buck, Devils Cub, Fridays Child, Cottilion...

I read her "Regency" books when I was a young girl. I loved them then and still do. I think I have read most of her books (not all her mysteries) but like to talk with others who enjoy her books too.
