Did Geoffrey Chaucer write a book called "The Book of the Dutchess" as it says in the movie "A Knights Tale" ?

Is it true, that Boccaccio, so often Chaucer’s immediate inspirer, was his inspirer in this case also, by the scheme and framework of The Decameron? I would be so appreciative of the conformationof such an abstract claim.
