Discussion: Gabaldon

Am currently re-reading the Outlander series; about to finish Drums. Just thought I would check into a discussion group to see if there were any other big fans talking about the books. I belong to two "face-to-face" monthly book clubs and easily suceeded in creating a dozen new avid fans by suggesting Outlander earlier this year. However, as I re-read I'm just blown away by Gabaldon's style, humor, denseness/complexity --and find myself longing for equally interested folks to discuss with! Hope I have found some here.

I agree about Gabaldon's intricate plots and the depth of knowledge that she brings to so many subjects.
But let's face it the main reason for readind the books is the depth and passion of the love that exsists between Jamie and Clare, One of the few fictional hero's I've had a crush on!
I do worry that she will make the series to long though and run out of momentam, what do you think?
