I havnt read Infinite Jest yet ,which I possess, but have read
Plowing the Dark by Richard Powers.I am interested as a UK
reader in the notion of the dissolving of cynical irony.This relates
to my reading of Powers' book which is about art and technology,particularly virtual reality.
