| Discussion: Duncan Falconer i loved it, though i was disappointed to see the stratton character have nothing to do with the book. But mallory does give it a more realistic feel, just being a marine. >>By fony Got the book last week, half way through now and I enjoy it very much. I thought I'd miss Stratton too, but that's not the case. I do understand the work title now, but I still think it sucked, The Protector sounds much better allthough I sometimes mix up The Operative and The Protector, they sound very similar. And this is worth mentioning because.......? ok, enough ramblings. One reminder for Mr Falconer: "But I’ll probably be back to the island next month and I’ll write a more detailed account of this most interesting place on my return."
