I haven't read anything of hers but "Dark Lord of Derkholm" and the Dalemark quartet, but her stuff is amazing. After seeing a trailer for the movie "Howl's Moving Castle," I think I might just have to see if I can't find that one at the library. :-)

I have read and re-read Charmed Life many times since I was 11 years old, many many many moons ago. It is still one of my favorites. I read all her books up until I was 18 or so. Then I started catching up on all the ones she wrote since then in my thirties (re-reading Charmed Life again and still loving it!!) I love her work! Now, this may be inflammatory, but when reading the H Potter books, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I was struck by so many similarities or just plain take-offs from DWJ books. I read several of the HP books before I started rereading DWJ books, a factor in why I started re-reading. Has JKR ever copped to this?
For my own selfish sake I am glad Hollywood has not touched the Chrestomanci stories because they would just make a dog's breakfast of it (Tom Cruise as Chrestomanci anyone? grrrrrrrr!) However, I would like for DWJ to get the proper recognition she deserves.
