Discussion: Daniel Pennac

I only read "au bonheur des ogres" (the Scapegoat?) because it was next to the Perec book I wanted that wasn't on the library shelf. The central idea, the scapegoat, is fantastic even though laying on the René Girard and turning Malaussène into a saint seemed over the top. For quite a long time I thought I was reading a children's book, but that's not a criticism.
