My favorite book by Cynthia Voight is Izzy, Willy-Nilly.
I was wondering how she got the idea to write Izzy, Willy-Nilly.

I would definalty go into her history. One interesting fact about her writting is always where she gets ner inspirations for the topics she writes about as well as the characters on the book. They all usually are based upon people in her life, that might be something you want to look into.

These books are okay...in Homecoming and Dicey's Song, it seems like the kids can never get a break. I find that a little depressing. I read the first 3 chapters in A Solitary Blue and didn't understand how it is in the same series as the Tillerman children. It doesn't seem very good, so I don't think I am going to finish reading it.
