Discussion: Cornwell Patricia Cornwell is an amazingly talented writer with a nose for news, a dedication to detailed reasearch and the ability to maintain the reader's attention long after the last page has been turned. Cornwell) books and I must say that once you pick one up you can't let it go until you have finished it. I just read the altest ddition to Scarpetta saga. It's called Scarpetta. I was glad to read that Kay and Marino were able to put the bad night behind them. He was so far gone with drink and that manipulative bitch for a shrink messing his head. But I don't approve of his bad behaviour. I have read all Scarpetta line books and also the other 2 police series. I must say that although the crimes discussed are gruesome, she does not dwell on them but focuses on how to put the bad guy away for good.
