The story is both sweet and bittersweet and has appeal for adults as well as children. It's a mixture of Oliver Twist, Chronicles of Narnia, and Catcher in the Rye. >>By Kari This is the best book ever! I think it's even better than the Potter books! The descriptions were beautiful and it has a rich atmosphere. The way Cornelia wrote the thief lord was that you will never feel bored. I hope she continues feeding her amazing mind and in doing that, continues feeding her very starving readers. >>By Samantha i was searching the net for fun when i read about 'The Theif Lord' and after that i planned to ask my school librarian if she could get it for me, and then when i got back to school, there it was, sitting on the shelf, and i hadn't even askd for it yet! i loved the book, the characters were great and the twists in the plot even more. i recommend 'The Theif Lord' for everybody who is anybody! >>By Alison* this book is one of the best ive read it really stirs your emotions if you can read this book and not see the true beauty of it you have a heart of stone. anyone whom has read 'The Thief Lord' and loved it should also read JRR Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings' and they would probably also enjoy the 'Wind on Fire' trilogy by William Nickelson. *By the way the earlier entry by "ykints" whom said that "stinky" and "lovemasta" were jerks is pretty stupid because ykints is stinky backwards so most likely it is the same person whom woul djust be talking bad about himself which is pretty stupid and since you have no apparent love for the said book you might as well not waste time aroung here >>By claire I'm writing a book report on her book "The Thief Lord".
