Charles De Lint

Forum

I am an avid reader of fantasy, sci fi, mystery, suspense and some horror. One of my favorite authors is Charles de Lint, a Canadian writer of "urban fantasy." I'm wondering if any of my fellow Florkers are familiar with his work? My favorite novel of his is Somewhere to Be Flying. His imaginary town of Newford sounds like a great place to live. I've read everything of his I can get my hands on.

He has new work in The Devil's Wine published by Cemetery Dance and edited by Tom Piccirilli. He's written poetry for this publication. You may find it interesting.

He is a favourite of mine. He tells a great story.

I absolutely LOVE Charles de Lint. I have almost ALL of his books. Someplace to be Flying is a good one. So is Memory and Dream. Actually, they're all great. They have such a wonderful mix of realism, redemption, heartache and joy.
