Discussion: Chaim Potok

I am reading "I am the Clay" with my book discussion group. It is quite a departure from all of his other books. The Korean War is of interest to me since I was born in the States while my father was serving in the US Army in Korea. My problem comes in that there is not a discussion guide for this book. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Questions or topic/themes, anything for discussion. You can email me at prayer24_7@hotmail.com. Thanks for your help, Carol

Good writer yet when trying to analyse themes it can be difficult because of all the underlying issues....also dialogue is monotonous and many students of this generation loathe such tedious and tiresome novels.
