Discussion: Carlene Thompson An excellent writer, I would like to see her write more books. She is as good as Mary Higgins Clark and I appreciate her books being written without profanity and explicit sex! This book was the first mystery I have never been able to solve before the ending! I have raved aloud and passed the book on to another reader!! Three cheers! I am going to the book store to find another C.Thompson novel!! >>By K.Folsom I picked up her book "While You Were Gone" soley because she had the same name as me. I don't do a lot of reading and am a relatively slow reader because of it. I'm about half way through the book and I am very impressed. Her book is easy to read, easy to follow and captivating. She gives her characters depth and reason. I agree with Gay Nelson; we need more authors like her! Keep up the good work Carlene!
