Discussion: Bertholt Brecht

what is Brecht's attitude towards morality and capitalism in "The Good Person of Setzuan"?

>>By jim

He was one of the colest guys ever. He decided to go against modern theatre and create something totaly new and inovative. He change the history of theatre and the way we view it. Bertholt Brecht gets my vote any day.

Hmmmmm, Brecht. In reading Brecht, he didn't seem to have a lot of faith in the human definition of morality, and he certainly didn't have a lot of faith in capitalism. I know when I was reading his work, I sure poured over the pages of his writing.
