Which ones, Natashechka? A Clockwork Orange is brilliant, so ahead of his time!

For anyone interested in Burgess' life story I'd recommend the Biography by Roger Lewis. It's absolutely hilarious. The hate Lewis feels for Burgess shines out of every page and had me laughing out loud - quite rare for a literary biography. Read in conjunction with Burgess's own two volumes of autobiography it's an altogether wonderful reading experience.

Billy Oblivion -

Thank's for the tip! Soon as I get some time over I'll absolutely check it out. Roger Lewis seems to have been quite the busy little bee...Peter Sellers and Laurence Olivier. Have you read any of those biographies? I think Sellers was married to a Swedish woman, her name slips my memory though.
