Antoine De Saint-Exupery

Forum

I first read "the little prince" to my tummy when i was pregnant, having had it read to me by my father when I was a little girl.
Today, I completed it again, my son now nearing 3...and still I cry at the ending!
I revere Antoine de Saint Exupery, for what he has given me. His woks have been life changers, and a beautiful place to go.
Thank You Sir x

I'm trying to buy the book as a gift for a friend, but I'm having trouble finding a really nice edition of it in its original language. The 60th anniversary gift edition looks nice, but all the retailers I've found only seem to offer it in English. Does anybody know where I could find a french-print version that's more elaborate than the "school-and-library-binding" edition? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you hear that the plane Saint-Exupéry crashed in was found at the bottom of the sea? Years after his death, this great writer and humanist manages to make waves, litteraly...

It's amazing after all this time that this book still completely blows me away. I re-read from time to time just to keep things in focus.
What year did they find the plane?

It was the first thing I bought when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, as a gift for her. It is the most profoundly moving book I've ever read.

There was an article on the news last week that they found his plane finally.

Anyone who enjoyed reading The Little Prince should definetely check out a book called Hope For The Flowers by Trina Paulus. Let me know what you think.
