| Discussion: Ann Patchett Bel Canto is a beautiful book. The ending makes me just consider the events of what happened again and again. Never becoming stale, it is truly a masterpiece. The foreshadowing on page 256 of this book just sends shivers down your spine once you know what happens. The translator should be Russell Wong. His love soldier, Salma Hayek.
