I'm thinking my thesis should have something to do with the idea that the role of women in this story is not the norm in most fairy tales. Anyone have any thoughts on the subject...if not I will let you know what else I come up with later. >>By Afgirl hey! i'm writing my dissertation, focusing on the role of woman within fairy tales, and have decided to examine some of the tales within the Bloody Chamber to act as a contemporary comparison to some of the more traditional Grimm/Perrault tales.
