Alex Haley is s sensational writer, who is a highly intellectual and distinguished man. Mama Flora's Family is a fantastic display of his wonderful literature. Even though i am only 16 and have not experianced much, I can feel the pain that the characters felt. For all Alex Haley fans i highly recommend it!

I`ve seen the movie (Queen and Roots,Roots the next Generation),He has become the writer of all times. his memory will live in all of us, he has showed us that looking in our Roots you never know what you might find.He is aGREAT MAN,

I read Roots while i was on vacation in Libya, and it made me feel even closer to africa and stuff. it's amazing how he could trace back 7 generations all the way to Kunta. wow.
